AMAZON

Discover the astonishing biodiversity of the Ecuadorian rain forest, it is not only the home of a high biodiversity of animals and superior plants but also of several native groups whom will welcome you to know about them and their ancestral traditions and costumes.
You will be part of that incredible experience surrounded by lush vegetation, colourful birds, wild animals and big rivers.
All the activities will be always assisted by a local guide of the zone and your Galaper tour guide.

WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO EXPLORE THE AMAZON RAIN FOREST?

Due to the common rainfalls, this region has what we known as “low water” and “high water” seasons.
It’s generally considered that the best time of the year to visit the Ecuadorian Rain Forest is during the low-water season (June to November), especially for rainforest hiking, what could be the best way to gain access to deeper parts of the jungle because of the unnavigable rivers.
But the high water season (November to May) is when rivers are more accessible and although water rises up to 23 feet (7 meters) the Rain Forest activities are always carried out without inconveniences.
